Anatoliy Byelyy shares a message called ‘Slow Down’. We all want to live thriving and fruitful lives, full of joy and purpose. We want to encounter God’s presence and hear his voice; a lifegiving voice that reveals our identity and purpose. We want to “live our call” and to accomplish something significant with our lives. So how do we awaken our souls to the things of God? How can we refresh our spiritual walks, and deepen our relationship with the Lord?
Theologian Ronald Rolheiser said these words: “It is not that we have anything against God, depth, and spirit, we would like these, it is just that we are habitually too preoccupied to have any of these show up on our radar screens. We are more busy than bad, more distracted than nonspiritual. Pathological busyness, distraction, and restlessness are major blocks today within our spiritual lives”.
The simple truth is that God is so close to us; and often to find ourselves in his presence and to hear his voice, all we need to do is to ‘Slow Down.’
